Musculoskeletal MRI has never offered better images than it does today. High-field systems, optimized sequences, 3D acquisitions, and advanced acceleration and reconstruction techniques allow structures to be visualized with remarkable clarity, shorten examinations, and help recover diagnostic information even in the presence of orthopedic hardware.
But better images are only the starting point. The real question is what they add to clinical practice.
