IRE's former executive director, Diana 'DeeDee' Fuentes, was posthumously honored with the James Madison Award at FOIFT's luncheon in Austin.

Her sisters accepted on her behalf and revealed her final gift: $25,000 to keep fighting for open records in Texas.
