Up At The Cemetery For Eight Years

After my regular sunday morning breakfast with my ma and eldest brother, we went up to the cemetery to visit my next eldest brother, who passed on eight years ago this coming tuesday

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting X

When the photo gods present you a lovely enough scene, that even an iPhone can do it some justice

Well, that is all & it for the photos from my day-tripper up to Minneapolis 😬

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting IX

Love little feather wisps of clouds

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting VIII

Yep, definitely my home state out the window and down below... can always tell when am, as it's nothing but cultivated ag land for as far as the eye can see

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting VII

Honestly did not notice when shot this, until post, how the clouds look like they are in motion, like waves upon a shore... good indicator of my having been awake for a solid day

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting VI

Good ol' black and white, the rest of the way... well, that is until the very last one, where got some great dappled light

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting V

Which I could definitely tell in post, as dynamic range was limited, with clipped whites... but, oh well... if I wanna bitch, then do so to myself for not taking out my real camera to shoot

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting IV

I have an app on my phone, that allows RAW capture of photos, as opposed to the JPEGs that the iPhone camera only shoots... But, did not use it... so, these are too are true iPhone pics

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting III

My flight back was also a little later in the morning, so did not have the cooler, low on the horizon sun, to accentuate even more the cloud tops, as the previous morning's flight

Trip Home Fly-By Shooting II

Until about halfway back, when clouds started to take on character

Except at this point, I wasn't in the mood to break out my camera, so just used my phone for all of the shots here

Sunrise To Greet My Departure

Getting to the photos I took on my day-tripper up to Minneapolis

This is an iPhone pic, taken out of chronological order of my previous two, where I was already at my destination... here is waiting for my departure to

Good morning, Minneapolis II

Another iPhone pic from the airport again, this time of a light fixture reflected in a window looking out to a parking garage across the way here, this time to close out my latest day-tripper, & head back
