I'm working my way through some bases and terrain pieces this week, but I'm at the point in the process where I want to through the lot out the window. Time for a break! 🍵

Poppies done ✔️ Daisies done ✔️ I’m doing two smaller pieces of the parts of this big commission piece. Stay tuned for when they’re ready as it’s rare that I do smaller work.

What’s happening in the studio?
The shoal ‘Luminous Spiral’ is framed and all ready to go to its new home along with the coral reef ‘Mosaic Seas’
Loving seeing the same frames together without glass. Can see that enamel look texture of the work, no reflection.

In the studio yesterday testing mounting techniques. This was wet mounting the drawing to the panel. Waiting for it to cure.

This happens so rarely, I just had to mention it.

It's not often that the date my current project #inthestudio is set in coincides with the actual date IRL.

"It was barely September..."
*Glances at calendar*
