A White-Saurer-CAT armored car in #Morocco, 1930s. The Compagnie Africaine de Transport (CAT) had an arrangement with the army, and built armored convoy escorts based on Saurer trucks. After 1932, armor from worn-out White TBCs were fitted to Saurer 5AD chassis.

Two images of what looks like a Citroën P 20 C armored half-track in this 14 June 1936 edition of Le Petit Journal Illustré. Somewhat peculiar, because as far as I'm aware this prototype was tested in Morocco in 1930 and never pursued further.

Berliet VUDB armored cars in North Africa during the 1930s. Immatriculation number 🇫🇷85 572 visible in #1. These were trucks with an armored casemate, with an FM 24 fired through the firing ports. A low-tech solution to the need for armor in tough environments.
