A #Muppet adaptation of #InfiniteJest would satisfy the insatiable thirst for gritty reboots and give new life to the beloved Muppet characters. If you thought Muppets riding bikes was cool, can you imagine them playing tennis and eschaton.

Disney and the Wallace estate need to make this happen.

My fellow millennials will agree that the best #Muppet movies were the ones based on classic literature and that we’re long due for another. I therefore propose a Muppet version of #InfiniteJest.

I did a talk at the #DavidFosterWallace conference in Gettysburg in 2024. It was about the character of Gerhardt Schtitt in #InfiniteJest. But the question that bugged me was about whether Schtitt's philosophy of tennis was fascist.
