A new UK clinical nutrition report flags malnutrition as still overlooked and ONS prescribing as shifting fast. Worth adding one more line to that list: an ONS drink nobody can safely finish delivers zero nutrition, whatever the label says.

IDDSI gave the world a shared language for texture - Level 2 means the same thing in Manchester as it does in Ontario. That's a genuine achievement.

But a shared standard isn't the same as a shared solution.

Not does it meet the standard? — but does the person want to drink it?
