@o-hillmovienight.bsky.socialThe Vamp has been through many changes. The #Ghoulish #Nasferatu of 1922. to #BarnabasCollins in the 1960s Vampires have become #MoreHuman. #TheLostBoys are part of that Transition that uses the struggle between 2 conflicting natures. #IconoClassics
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.socialThe Vow is all to often the thing that drives the action in #MoviesoftheSeason. But it is #SupportingCast that makes this Film go. #EmilyWatson #AlbertFinney #ChristopherLee & #DannyElfman [ #TheSipmsons] #TracyUllman [her #VarietyShow was the original #SourceoftheSimpsons #IconoClassics
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.socialOne of #TImBurton's forgotten films illustrates the place of #TheVow in #AllHallowsEve festivities and stories. #CorpseBride features a #ReluctantGroom who goeinto the woods to practice his vows and becomes betrothed to a #murdered #BridetoBe. #IconoClassics

@o-hillmovienight.bsky.socialThough #GregoryPeck & #LeeRemick seem to be perfectly cast as the #DevilChilds Mother & Father, many others were considered for the role of #AmbassadorThorn, including #OliverReed #WilliamHolden #CharltonHeston #RoyScheider #DickVanDyke & #CharlesBronson #IconoClassics How different would that be?
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.socialWhen it comes to #EndofDaysHorror there is no shortage of choices. But if you want the #Classic #Icon it has to be #TheOmenWhile parts 2 & 3 of the trilogy were not able to clear the same bar this one is a Masterpiece from #Director #RichardDonner #IconoClassics
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.socialIconoClassics look at #TheCrow with #BrandonLee's #LastOnScreenINtnerview describes the Curse. @o-hillmovienight.bsky.socialNosferatu is one of the best [if not the Best] #VampireMovie The problem is the movie was a case of artistic theft from #BramStoker. Though names & locales were changed the story adhered to the novel like Green on spring. #MovienightBonusFeature #IconoClassics
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.social#Nosferatu [ #WhoelFilm] was the only film made by #PranaFilmStudio who did not acquire the rights to adapt #BramStokesr's #Dracula When the studio could not pay the settlement the Judge ordered all copies and negative destroyed. #IconoClassics
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.social#TheLivingDeadFranchise went through two roots since the creators disagreed on the direction after the first movie. But the officially recognized series was overseen by #GeorgeRomero. Though Romero died in 2017, his estate is producing the last one he started #TwilightoftheDead #IconoClassics
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.social#Gremlins the term is synonymous with unexpected Malfuntions, Accidents & Crashes. No wonder these critters are never seen. What's more is that what we know about them comes from a #StevenSpeilberg Movie... If I could only remember the name... #IconoClassics
@o-hillmovienight.bsky.social#Creepshow was a paradyme shift away from the #RogerCorman #BMovie approach drawing on some of the biggest stars of that time and putting #StephenKing in charge of the story. You can Learn about Director #GeorgeRomero's next project atop the #Cutlist #IconoClassics
