I'm beginning to find the attentive lover from Uruguay very annoying: he begins EVERY long-distance call with "Good morning, cariño." LOL #amreading #whodunnit #ICameBackForYou #KateWhite #booksky

#ICameBackForYou is another thriller set in academia (like Ruth Ware's The It Girl and Leigh Bardugo's Ninth House and Hell Bent). I must have a soft spot for this type of setting b/c I skipped over 2 novels in my TBR pile b4 I landed here. I find the murder victim's English prof very sus! #booksky

Started #ICameBackForYou today, and I'm already a 4th of the way through. It's nimble, w/c I appreciate. It's my 1st Kate White. #amreading #booksky #thriller #womenmysterywriters #sentenceoftheday "I was a fawner back then, but I have no intention of being one now."
