Many people are shocked to learn that millions of #animals are used in inhumane experiments every year in the US. Some animals (such as birds, rats, and mice bred for #research) are not even classified as “animals” under the federal Animal Welfare Act.

At AAVS, they all matter.

September is Animal Pain Awareness Month.

Just like our animals at home can experience #pain, so too can an animal used in testing. If you agree that animals should not have to suffer, share this with your #friends.
