Sprinkler in action for 5 hours. A sprinkler uses c1,000L per hour of water (I think!). Total water usage 5,000 litres = equivalent of what a family would use in five days. Crazy thing is, parched lawns come back to life without irrigation. I doubt they will thank me if I point this out #hosepipeban
