The beautifully nostalgic cinematography of #HopeAndGlory is by Philippe Rousselot, who shot Henry and June, Dangerous Liaisons, and Oscar-winner A River Runs Through It, among many other of the biggest films of the last thirty years... and he's still working at age 81! #TCMParty

On a walk when in London a few months ago, I came upon this memorial in a park. It was the site of a trench bomb shelter that in 1940 took a direct hit from a Nazi bomb meant for nearby Waterloo Station. 104 people, including children, were killed; many buried at the site. #HopeAndGlory #TCMParty
