A cream-colored map (1928) of the Boulder Dam Project and Colorado River Aqueduct for Southern California Cities. Map shows the path of the Colorado River and proposed Colorado Aqueduct as it flows from the Boulder Canyon Dam (in slate-blue) located on the far-right. Major Southern California cities are noted along with the path of the Los Angeles Aqueduct.

Looking out from the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam toward Lake Mead. Two intake towers stand on the left and the white bathtub ring runs around the canyon walls. A couple lines of fluffy clouds cross the sky.
