We attended the screening of the Extraordinary Caterpillar 🐛 last night at the AFI Silver hosted by @montgomeryparks and @caseytrees followed by a panel discussion and caterpillar pass around #gardendc #caterpillars #insects #homegrownnationalpark

This is a weird year - sweat bees are still visiting mint and this great black wasp does not realize what season it is. At least the asters are on point (missed the leaf cutter bee visiting bloom by a millisecond) #nativepollinators #nativeplants #homegrownnationalpark #bloomscrolling

Field thistle blooms bringing all the bees to the yard. I am just playing on repeat - when i am not watching them live #nativeplants #homegrownnationalpark #bloomscrolling #fallplants #mentalhealth
