Pub fact: There is a pub called Tom Cribb opposite the Harold Pinter Theatre in London.
When Tom Cribb retired as a boxer he became the landlord of the, then called, Union Arms. Its name changed to the Tom Cribb in 1960. It’s great little pub attracting people who go to the Comedy Store nearby and the theatre.
