#HighSpeedThursday Neither shot is going to win photo of the year but i do like a record shot for haulages so here's #ScotRail #InterCity7 #HST 43037 at Haymarket & Inverness, our 3½hr ride to the capital of the Highlands aboard 1H17 13.32 Edinburgh-Inverness on 9/9/26

I think the reference to #highspeedthursday must refer to their initial (1970s!) purpose as high speed trains. In #intercity7 guise, surely they are #hopefullyspeedytrundlers?

#HighSpeedThursday Looking back to my recent trip to Scotland with @kingy69beard.bsky.social. We had this #ScotRail #InterCity7 #HST set from Dundee to Haymarket. 43028 & 43163 on 1B78 11.01 Aberdeen to Edinburgh seen departing from Haymarket station. 9/9/26

#HighSpeedThursday Dundee in the morning sunshine on Wednesday last week. Front & rear #ScotRail #InterCity7 #HST power cars 43182 & 43015, looking a bit worse for wear, working 1A77 08.31 Edinburgh to Aberdeen, our ride to Arbroath. 9/9/26
