New video out!
The Peloncillos of New Mexico have it out for me, but we survived the mechanical distaster that occurred there and still managed to find critters...with the star this time probably being a mammal!

Behold the northwestern goth-er #snake! This Thamnophis ordinoides is the most hyper-melanistic I've seen--solid black, but with a normal red and black tongue. Found on the #Oregon Coast north of Lincoln City, where I've found several other weird color variants. #snakes #herps #herping #reptiles 🌿

Texas Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma cornutum) from Southwestern Kansas many many moons ago. Remains the only one I have ever seen.

Herping in Kansas rocks.

New video out!
A shorter one as this mountain range always tends to be finicky...luckily the lower slopes nearly always have at least one snake cruising around.
