Been working in #heroforge a bit, I always loved powerful characters creators for better realizing a character’s design and heroforge is probably the best one out there.

This is the moment my life changed forever. A traveling troop of performers visited and Torbyn invited them to put on a show at the castle. She was the most beautiful creature I had ever set eyes on, and I didn't even know her name. #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #oc #centaur #heroforge

A digital 3D model of a caucasian female centaur with the body of a black-and-white paint Gypsy Vanner. Her long hair and tail, which are also streaked in black and white, are tied in multiple small, intricate braids and decorated with gold beads. Her fingernails and hooves are painted gold and she wears a number of golden piercings- her belly button, eyebrow, earlobes, and right nostril, which is commected to her right earlobe by a thin gold chain. Around her neck is a gold necklace with a star charm and there are gold bangles around all four fetlocks. She wears a red long sleeved crop top blouse and a red short blanket, both with gold trim. The blanket has a lotus flower motif in orange, yellow, and gold. She has pink, yellow, orange, and purple powder splattered all over her from her performance and she is dancing with a tambourine held in her right hand. She is looking off to the side at someone out of view and is smiling broadly, playfully. She is blushing from exertion and joy, or perhaps she is smitten with whoever she has locked eyes with?

Someone is spoiled rotten. Someone thinks she's a princess.

....someone is right.

A digital 3D model of Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with the body of a bay horse. His dark brown hair is tied back in his normal bun with a braid running down the side of his head. He is dressed for cooler fall weather, wearing a dark blue, long sleeved Henley style shirt with a blue plaid horse blanket and matching short cape. His left arm has been replaced at the shoulder by a black and gold metal prosthetic. In his arms, he holds a fluffy, pure white cat, cradled on her back like a baby. This is Alpipa, Jayme's beloved pet. Her hed rests in the crook of his right elbow and she is reaching up with her left forepaw to boop her favorite person on the nose. Jayme looks down at her with a deeply affectionate smile. A close up of the previous image, cropped at Jayme's human abdomen to highlight how lovingly he looks down at the cat. At this angle, the notch in his right eyebrow, gray streak in his hair, and scars on the knuckles of his right hand are visible, as well as a hint of the scarring on his cjest peaking through the open top buttons of his shirt.

"Looking back... I'd never choose to be beaten so savagely again but I can't deny that it opened up a path that made me far superior to the dragon I would have been instead." Syndrathun reflects on her first meeting with Vallindara 30 years ago, a cage match that left her comatose.

#HeroForge

Vallindara Helligorn the black dragon steps away from the devastated body of fellow black dragon Syndrathun Venginoth after pummeling her within an inch of her life in a bloody underground cage match. Vallindara wipes a bit of blood from her nose, only lightly damaged compared to the brutality she inflicted upon Syndrathun.

In Apothecaria there is a unique and rare race of dracuine that're fey in nature, and are heavily protected by the Summer Court. Their strength is immeasurable and they can make powerful allies. Unfortunately, they're too keen on making rivals instead.

Image of a red-haired and white-eyed fey dracuine, wearing bright and colorful clothing like that of a warlock or paladin. A servant knight of the Summer Court.

This is Grant now. I went searching for my birth herd after Torbyn hung a foot in my ass about it and actually found them! Can you belive that scrawny sack of bony elbows grew up to be THIS guy?! Puberty hit him like a raging Barbarian 🤣 #dnd #centaur #oc #ttrpg #heroforge #dungeonsanddragons

A digital 3D model of Grant, a greenish-blue eyed caucasian male centaur with the body of a palamino horse, now all grown up. His body is covered in faint brown freckles called "fleabitten" markings and his left foreleg has a white stocking marking. His tail and hair are blond and his hair is still a curly mop like it was in childhood. But unlike his sickly childhood self, he stands tall and strong, having outgrown the ailments caused by his premature birth. He appears to be well muscled and in excellent condition. Grant wears a long-sleeved dark blue tunic and matching short blanket, both of which have red trim and white detailing and laces. Around his neck is a silver necklace with a star pendant. He smiles crookedly at someone out of frame.
@mindthejabberwock.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 7:13 PM

Speaking of my childhood, I thought you might like to meet my friend Grant. He was born early, scrawny and sickly. Some of the elders even whispered that his Ma should just leave him behind. But he was a Clydesdale worth of "fight me" crammed into a pony worth of kid. #dnd #oc #ttrpg #heroforge

The child version of Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with the body of a bay horse, stands beside another child centaur- a caucasian boy with the body of a palamino. This is Grant. Grant has a messy mop of blond curls and greenish-blue eyes. He is very slightly built, appearing small and almost malnourished when compared to Jayme despite being only a few months younger. Both boys are filthy and disheveled. Grant has a black eye, a missing front baby tooth, and a bloody nose. Jayme has a large bruise on one cheek, twigs in his hair, and a split lower lip that is seeping blood. In one hand Jayme holds a broken slingshot, his other hand pressed to his forehead in a facepalming expression. He appears aggravated. The green vest and short blanket that he's wearing are covered in mud. Beside him, Grant grins unrepentantly. He holds a large stick in one hand and is rubbing the back of his neck with the other. There is an old, rusty and battered shield at his feet with a chunk missing and he has grass stains all over the knees of his forelegs and the oversized, sleeveless and threadbare blue tunic and tan loincloth style wrap that he wears. His right rear leg has a bandage tied around it.

I had a hypothesis. Presentation is everything.

I wanted to prove on #HeroForge that re-uploading one’s old figures with the new thumbnail feature changing the presentation will result in a far better reception.

It is true.

I call it the “second chance” effect. Further info in replies.

Happy fall, everyone! We're setting up for our fall harvest festival, and Alpipa is... "helping". She almost managed to make off with a drumstick earlier. And see, I DO own clothes other than my work uniform and my armor. #centaur #dnd #oc #dungeonsanddragons #heroforge #happyfall

A digital 3D model of Jayme, a caucasian male centaur with dark brown hair and the body of a bay centaur. He is outside, surrounded by trees in their fall foliage, and fairy lights have been strung from the branches. An enormous jack-o-lanturn sits nearby, almost as tall as Jayme's hindquarters. Jayme is wearing a cream long sleeved shirt and an orange, red, and cream plaid horse blanket with a matching short cape over his shoulders. On his right shoulder, he balances a keg and in his metal prosthetic left hand he holds a pair of large, overflowing beer steins. He is walking towards a table that is laden with a feast, including a cauldron of soup, baskets of bread, fruit, and vegetables, a plate of fish, a plate of large drumsticks, and a pie. Close to the table sits his fluffy white cat Alpipa, who is standing up on her back paws so she can examine the contents of the table.

We should have a big Halloween post of all the Bluesky Heroforgers edited together. Sorta like how the official Pride collage was made. Not everyone here has a defined OC, but it would still be neat.

Sometimes I have to make up NPCs I didn't expect to make. I would much rather open up Hero Forge and throw something together real quick than resort to any kind of stolen artwork or even AI.

These two own a small market at the edge of Giant's Landing, Apothecaria.
