What do art students see when they visit a herbarium?

We loved welcoming Professor Emily Bivens and her graduate art students to TENN! Their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm brought fresh perspectives and wonderful conversations about nature, art, science, and history.

We recently welcomed the Native Plant Rescue Squad for a special tour! We explored our collections, algae, library, and cabinet of curiosities while sharing how the herbarium can serve as a community resource for plant identification and conservation work.
