@rolandixor.bsky.socialBig thank yous go to Bryan Fink (@beerriot), Guillaume Turri (@guillaume.turri) and NVRAM (@n2vram) for continued fixes and improvements to #Inkscape, and Travis Jeans (@travis-j) for providing actionable UI mockups on this week’s #HelpWanted issue!
@rolandixor.bsky.socialIt's bug #BugFixFriday y'all!
This week’s #HelpWanted #Inkscape issue is a small but important improvement for the Object Properties Dialog:
X, Y, Width and Height accept values, but there’s no way to choose their units. We need us a unit selector!
@javda2008.bsky.socialWanna help a stinky indie pilot off the ground or something? I hope you do
@crafty.mastodon.philtanner.com.ap.brid.gyIn case you hadn't worked it out, I'm now working on the #USSEnterpriseD. This kit has the windows premoulded into the plastic, but they're about 0.8mm wide, and about 6-7mm tall.
I need to find a way to transpose them through to the inside of the plastic, so I can mask […]
@rolandixor.bsky.socialOnce again, it's #BugFixFriday! Our #HelpWanted #Inkscape issue is about batch export.
Currently, multiple export entries using the same format share format options, which defeats the purpose of having them exist separately.
We need each entry to keep its own settings.
@rexo.st.transbus.socialokay quick question: can y'all go to https://rexowo.dev, try navigating around a bit with the links at the top and see if there's any lag/slow loading times? #helpwanted #boostswelcome
@rolandixor.bsky.socialIt's #BugFixFriday! This week’s #HelpWanted #Inkscape issue: options for fading objects when entering groups.
We need someone to implement new UI controls so users can choose how, or whether, other objects fade while working inside a group or layer.

@rolandixor.bsky.socialIt's #BugFixFriday again! This week’s #HelpWanted #Inkscape issue: The Eraser Tool has a ghost dropdown menu 👻
* Start fresh with the window maximized
* Select Eraser
* Empty overflow menu appears
Expected: only when controls overflow.
