Amish Reimagined
Amish with an Escher twist
Hélène Hein
ALLEMAGNE 2026

Inspiration to reimagine this piece struck in an Escher exhibition in Paris. |
played with the gradations from Road to Paris to create depth, moving outwards from the original block, keeping the design and quilting simple, in the Amish
spirit. Foundation piecing at this scale was a challenge!

The Amish quilt in black, blues and cream squares and triangles.
