Lillian Bilocca carried the sea in her blood and safety of the fishermen on her shoulders. When disaster struck, She demanded change from an industry that underestimated her. Lillian wasn’t just a campaigner, she was as a protector, fearless and unshakeable.

I again at the Maritime Museum proud to stand beside their image. Proud that Hull remembers them. They stood together when it mattered and because of them, countless families were spared heartbreak. I am proud to honour my heroes and proud to carry their story forward.
