Haystack Rock. Cannon Beach. Sea grasses in the foreground, a group of sea stacks with Haystack center towering over the others, surrounded by the rolling waves, some mist in the air, topped with pale blue sky and white wispy clouds.

"Cannon Beach, located on the Oregon coast in the United States, is famous for its spectacular 71-meter-tall monolith, Haystack Rock.
Stretch of sand: A vast sandy beach spanning over 6 kilometers—ideal for long walks—stretching from Chapman Point in the north to Silver Point in the south.
Haystack Rock: This iconic rock formation can be reached on foot at low tide, allowing visitors to explore tide pools teeming with starfish and anemones, as well as observe a colony of tufted puffins during the spring and summer months.
A landscape often shrouded in coastal mist, lending the area a mystical and majestic atmosphere."

A solitary figure against the reflected light, the sea holding the last warmth of the day while Haystack Rock becomes almost pure silhouette.

Hello=)💙The Oregon Coast💙 coastal region of the U.S. state of Oregon. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean🩵.

🩵Côte de l'Oregon🩵, région côtière de l'État américain de l'Oregon🩵.

"The Oregon Coast is a coastal region of the U.S. state of Oregon. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Oregon Coast Range to the east, stretching approximately 362 miles (583 km) from the California state border in the south to the Columbia River in the north. The region is not a specific geological, environmental, or political entity, and it includes the Columbia River estuary.
The Oregon Beach Bill of 1967 ensures free public access to the beach. In exchange for a pedestrian easement and restrictions on construction, the bill eliminates property taxes on private beach land and allows owners to retain certain property rights regarding the beach.[1]
Traditionally, the Oregon Coast is considered to consist of three distinct sub-regions:The North Coast, extending from the Columbia River to Cascade Head.
The Central Coast, extending from Cascade Head to Reedsport.
The South Coast, extending from Reedsport to the Oregon-California border."

"I usually wouldn't associate Haystack Rock with minimal. But coming out of the fog like this seems to give it a mystical, Brigadoon vibe." -mick
