This Day in Sports History: 9/28/2013. #HawthornFC defeated #FremantleDockers 11.11 (77) - 8.14 (62) in the #AFL #GrandFinal. After losing the Grand Final in 2012 to the #SydneySwans. Hawthorn took the lead in the 4th minute of the 1st quarter on a goal by Jack Gunston & never trailed.🏈 #foreverfreo

To me a leader of any sports team should not only be a good player but one who shows respect for the game. In the two finals that Hawthorn have played James Sicily ended one by taunting an opposition player and the other by abusing an umpire. He should not be captain. #AFL #HawthornFC #SoreLoser
