A vertical, cinematic horror image viewed from inside an aging projection booth. A large vintage film projector dominates the left foreground, its metal reels, gears, and mechanical components illuminated by dim amber light. On the right, two figures are seen from behind, their heads partially obscuring the view through a scratched, grimy projection window.
Beyond the glass, a narrow, deteriorating hallway stretches into the distance. Peeling paint, exposed brickwork, crooked framed pictures, and hanging light fixtures establish the neglected setting. Several people walk away from the viewer, including a woman in a patterned dress and a man wearing a pale shirt and dark trousers.
Farther down the corridor, an unsettling pale face appears between the visitors, staring directly toward the projection booth. Its dark eyes and expressionless features contrast sharply with the ordinary figures surrounding it.
A ghostly ribbon of smoke or translucent light curls across the upper window. Heavy film grain, scratches, faded green shadows, and yellowed highlights give the entire composition the appearance of damaged archival footage. The projector and watching figures frame the distant apparition, creating an eerie sense of observation within observation.
