This was a much disputed structure built by a local land owner in the early 1800s which led to a popular uprising and, eventually, formed the basis of the public right of way legislation we have today.

Probably the most interesting thing I've done so far for the Glagsow's Doors Open Day Festival, which is on this weekend, is visit the archaeological dig currrently going that's looking for evidence of one of the walls in the East End of Glasgow known as Harvie's Dyke.
