$🥀 🇫🇮 HANGING GARDEN – Dream Death ✧ Inside the Record The darkness that whispers light. There is a moment in the dead of night, just before sleep drifts in, when the mind strips away all its daytime defenses. It is there, in the narrow fracture between dreaming & emotional death, that the scenery of "Dream Death" is set. Dylan Cruz’s sophomore release demands that you share in its drowning. If you could translate this music into an image, you would see a person sinking underwater. The beginning embodies that raw panic of being submerged... a dense, blackened storm, where guitars & drums mirror the tangled thoughts of someone trapped within their own guilt. Deep growls alternate with agonizing shrieks, crafting an internal labyrinth. It is the sound of anger, alienation & a wrestling match with the ghosts of the past, right when reality becomes too painful to bear. Yet, the true magic lies in its sudden shift. Right when you feel the weight is about to crush you, the rage recedes, giving way to an incredible, melancholy sweetness. Toward the final stretch, the harsh elements soften. They become ethereal, clean & profoundly melodic. It is the moment when the drowning soul stops fighting the current & looks up at the surface light from the very bottom. The music transforms into a confession of unfulfilled desires & the profound grief of loss. As the final notes dissolve, the suffocating weight vanishes. Nothing is left but a bittersweet nostalgia. Cruz uses these final vibrations to show you that our most beautiful memories are the ones that hurt us the most because they are gone forever, yet remain the only things capable of offering true redemption. When the final silence falls, you feel as though someone has clothed your hidden loneliness in sound & made it beautiful. Verdict: 9 / 10 A bittersweet immersion into emotional ruin & quiet redemption. https://youtu.be/LMwP1GaiN6A #hanginggarden #review #metalsky #progmetal #techdeath #flowerofevil🥀$
