Trump's DOJ announced it won't enforce federal registration requirements for silencers and certain short-barreled guns nationwide. Apparently "law and order" now comes with a volume knob, and somebody in Washington just turned it all the way down. #GunPolicy

If #GunPolicy is about reducing deaths rather than political symbolism, start where the evidence points: #SafeStorage, real penalties for negligent adults, then permit-to-purchase.
