Almost 10 years later, #GuardiansoftheGalaxyVol2 remains the best “I wanna flex 4K HDR” movie. #MCU

The DQ in #GuardiansoftheGalaxyVol2 reminds me of the tie-in Blizzard that was Reese’s cups, Reese’s pieces, and peanut butter sauce.

It was amazing. And nothing quite like it has hit their menu since.

Is there a greater step up between a movie and its sequel than #GuardiansoftheGalaxy and #GuardiansoftheGalaxyVol2?

I don’t think so, but it’s quite a feat considering how good Vol 1 was to start with. V1 was a great action adventure, but V2 is that plus deeper themes and an amazing finale.

#GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol2 (2026 revisit) 4/5. The villains plot may be a bit simple, but that shouldn't detract from the heart of the film which I identified it to be the importance of found family. May be a bit too jokey but there are decent gags in this film. Good effects too.
