Paul Lucchitti and Jayden Ojeda saw a chance to fight for a podium go up in smoke. After a strong first stint from Ojeda, the jacks on the Move My Wheels AMG of Tigani Motorsport malfunctioned in the pit stop. Lucchitti crossed the line in P9.

Ryan Wood had passed Peroni on the second lap and handed the Wolfbrook Audi over to Steve Brooks in the lead. Brooks however ground to a halt with an issue on his out lap. The Kiwi stopped in the middle of the track and would retire from the race.
