My boyfriend, @saber15.bsky.social and I, occasionally go birdwatching irl, and we had an idea of our gryphons going birdwatching: birdwatching birds!

Species include; boat-tailed grackles, mourning dove, bluejay, brown headed cowbirds, and a redwinged blackbird

More about gryphons (finally)

Many species of birds can voluntarily constrict (pin) their pupils, and it can be a strong indicator of their mood. Gryphons share this trait, and use it in some non-vocal communication, even just as a way of expressing interest in something.

I noticed a ton of notification suddenly, and yes hello-

I am a silly #furry nerd that loves to look at #birds and #gryphons and post/find strange art from time to time, so it's very flattering to get so much sudden attention from those that -fit- that interest.

Don't mind me, I just admire you. 🤍
