@dustwin.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gyI had used #Grammarly in the past then I switched to #LanguageTool until it stopped being free. I just stumbled upon #Harper and it seems to be working well. I need a #grammar helper because I make too many little mistakes to catch them all. Here is hoping this goes well.

@elanorlandrie.bsky.socialHere's a question for my fellow #writingcommunity members? Do you still use #Grammarly and crap like that? And if so, to what extent?
Cause I have basically stopped using it for everything except typos and punctuation errors because all of its #AI BS "style" suggestions are so homogenizing.

@neilcamp.bsky.socialI am nervous about using AI too heavily when editing content. I see no issue with spelling and grammar. I see where editing could pose problems. When is it too much? I use #Grammarly and would want to use #ProWritingAid for a novel if I ever write one.
@futureautomationai.bsky.socialGrammarly and QuillBot are often compared as if they're interchangeable.
They're not.
Grammarly is increasingly an AI communication assistant focused on clarity, tone, correctness and everyday writing.
We compared both in 2026.
