A colorful hand-drawn beach scene fills a spiral-bound sketchbook page, rendered with energetic black ink lines and washes of red, pink, orange, green, blue, and violet. In the foreground at right, a lavender-skinned vampire woman lounges in a striped beach chair. She has pointed ears, bright red eyes, long black hair, curled purple horns, a black spiked collar, and a red bikini. She casually sips a vivid red drink through a straw while holding an oversized tropical cocktail decorated with fruit. Behind her, another pale blue-gray vampire woman reclines on a red lounge chair in a bikini, her red eyes and extended tongue giving her a mischievous expression. Farther back, a skeletal vampire wearing dark sunglasses and a black cape sits beside a blonde woman under a green beach umbrella. At left, a towering skeletal demon or vampire with enormous bat wings stands beneath palm trees, while smoke rises into the blue sky behind it. A large thatched beach umbrella dominates the middle ground, and a weathered cylindrical tower rises behind the tropical foliage. Sand, ocean water, discarded drink glasses, lounge furniture, and small beach details crowd the lower portion of the drawing, creating the feel of a bizarre supernatural resort where monsters have traded crypts and castles for cocktails and sun loungers.
