It's a Glass Octopus (Vitreledonella richardi), one of my fave cephalopods. They're rare, live in the deep ocean and are spectacular. I decided to sketch one! It's done by hand in blue mechanical pencil lead and Koo-i-Noor colored pencils, a q tip & alcohol!

A sketchpad : In the center is an illustration of a Glass Octopus drawn in blue, orange and yellow. To the left is a Koo-i-noor colored pencil in blue, a MONO zero eraser, & blue Pentel mechanical pencil sticks. To the right is a bottle of alcohol, a q tip (also blue coincidentally), and a yellow mechanical pencil with blue lead inside. I rubbed the color with alcohol on a cotton swab to give it a smoother appearance here and there.
