✏️ Entry Forty-Two is Day Six. Around Sørkapp at 04:25 while the whole ship slept, and beans sitting at an angle in the morning that told the story better than I could.

Day 04. July 18, Hornsund. Cleats over the boots. We walked up Wibebreen with meltwater running in channels under our feet. A glacier is alive. Then the sun came round warm and took me for half an hour.

Day 03: No Ground. July 17, sailing south to Hornsund. The sails went up in the early morning. Seventy-four kilometres. Not one person set foot on anything. Nobody minded.

Day 02. July 16, Tempelfjorden. Every morning started with Sarah on the speaker saying good morning, good morning. This one also answered what moved the ship in the night. A glacier, in the dark, letting go of a piece of itself.
