Excited to share a milestone!🌱 I am honored to be serving as a member of the Greening Education Partnership (GEP) Working Group 4: Greening Communities a global initiative led by UNESCO. GEP brings together governments, UN agencies, youth, educators and civil society to make education a powerful force for climate action. Working Group 4 focuses on lifelong learning for climate and sustainability action empowering cities and communities to drive meaningful change. As part of this group, I join colleagues from UNESCO, FAO, World Organization of the Scout Movement, and experts worldwide including Prof. Katrin Kohl, Maritza Morales Casanova, Çelebi Kalkan, Erdem Vardar and many others, to co-create the Greening Communities Guidance. Proud to represent EALS CONSULT UGANDA LIMITED and Uganda in this global community of practice. At EALS, we believe greening education starts with greening communities from classrooms to cities.
