Blackpool, 2008. An ornate two-storey fairground carousel photographed in fading daylight. Rows of warm yellow bulbs illuminate its scalloped canopy, decorated with painted scenes of buildings and waterways. White carousel horses with colourful saddles stand around the circular platform, with a staircase leading to the upper level. The darkening sky and seafront are visible beyond.
