I’ve been challenging myself to let some of my paintings breathe instead of filling every available inch. For this one, I gave a huge section over to a single quiet color and let the scratches, lines, fragments and little flashes underneath do the talking.🩶

Part One 🔴⚪️🔵

This one started with layers of circles, stripes, masks, and repetition on the gel plate. And nothing from the process is going to waste. The leftover papers became the starting point for an entirely different piece.
