To paraphrase the Cinema Snob's review of a different musical, there's only 5 minutes of #GayPurree left so they need to get through the next 15 songs quick! #TCMParty

Sadly Paul Frees died by suicide. He was unwell in his last years. #AnEveningOfChuckJonesing #TCMParty #GayPurree

Many mistakenly think that Orson Welles did the narration in St. Valentine's Day Massacre, much like many think that Boris Karloff sang the Grinch songs in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. #AnEveningOfChuckJonesing #TCMParty #GayPurree

Well the Man of A Thousand Voices that wasn't Mel Blanc. LOL. He also narrated many things incl the film St. Valentine's Day Massacre. It was Roger Corman's only studio film w/a studio budget. It did pretty well in the box office but Corman disliked it. #AnEveningOfChuckJonesing #TCMParty #GayPurree

Mewsette's story at this point is very much Harsh In Hindsight when you think about what happened to her voice actor, poor Judy Garland. #AnEveningOfChuckJonesing #TCMParty #GayPurree

You are right. This is about cat trafficking. #GayPurree #TCMParty

Speaking of Renoir, his son Jean's film The Rules of the Game will air on TCM later on this month in the overnight. #AnEveningOfChuckJonesing #TCMParty #GayPurree

Appreciation post for Paul Frees, a prolific voice actor for Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Rankin/Bass, etc. He was often called the "Man of a Thousand Voices" #TCMParty #GayPurree

I just realized this is basically about feline trafficking #TCMParty #GayPurree

Chuck Jones animation certainly gets more artistic and abstract in a movie like this.
