A towering colossus of clattering chattering terror, from Japan comes Gashadokoro. Said to be made up of the skulls of fallen soldiers left on the battlefield or those who died of starvation/famine, the skulls fuse into a giant skeleton that strides across the land seeking huan victims to scoop up and eat to try and sate its nightmarish hunger. Gashadokoro are said to be nigh-industructible, as they are already dead, and the skulls can simply re-assemble. They are also clever and can turn invisible and stalk their prey. The only clue that an invisible one may be nearby is the chattering sound of its teeth. They can be warded off, or avoided - but otherwise there is little to be done other than try to survive until its hunger and rage are finally released.
