One anime thing I still believe to this day is that Suisei no #Gargantia / Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet is a great anime and absolutely worth watching, even with some very specific moments considered problematic. Acknowlegde the problems, but keep watching. Urobuchi work. Great last episode.

A boy raised in space for nothing but war lands on an ocean-covered Earth and learns everything he was told was a lie. Gargantia and Code Geass as anime about beating propaganda? Didn't see that pairing coming.
