Alport-like GBM on EM does not mean collagen IV. A child with steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome, years of immunosuppression, only partial responses: compound heterozygous MYO1E. The defect was in the podocyte anchor. EM raised the doubt, genetics answered it. doi.org/10.3390/ijms27062838 #FSGS
