Began my spooky movie season.
1. Shocking French satire sneaks up on you.
2. New Resident Evil is so much fun.
3. Hilarious romp.
4. Uneasy dynamic in sequel works well.

#w LE MARGINAL (1983) aka The Outsider. Jean Paul Belmondo is a rogue loose cannon cop playing by his own rules - but he gets results, dammit! Here he's up against perennial bad guy Henry Silva & a young blonde Tcheky Karyo! Good fisticuffs & stuntwork!
