It’s illegal for the military to interfere with voting, including posting up at ballot boxes. But this is DC, where US citizens are denied the basic right of federal representation and ruled by the whims of both the executive and legislative branches of government. #FreeDC

Climate disaster preparation and relief isn't a cushy gig like their Club Med Falluja-DC deployment, but it saves lives & obeys the law

As I complimented these troops for their fine implementation of Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) protocols in Columbia Heights but criticized them for violating the Posse Comitatus Act, another gentleman chided me, saying "they're just doing their jobs."
