❓Who's paying the most in extra energy costs because of the Hormuz crisis?

✔️ Europe 🇪🇺

But as we heard from EU President VDL in today's #SOTEU, there's no serious strategy to tackle this. Maybe she should stop taking advice from the fossil fuel industry?

Fossil fuel companies have delayed, weakened & sabotaged climate action. They push false solutions that enable them to keep making billions, while heating the planet & destroying communities.

Yet the EU is not just accepting their invitations, it's inviting them in.

We need #FossilFreePolitics now

What do you do when there’s a vampire at the door? Don’t invite them in!

The same thing goes for #fossilfuel industry, which profits from causing climate crisis.

We need #FossilFreePolitics, yet #EU Commission joins #BigPolluters in #Brussels today

Two panel image with overhead title "When it matter's who you're talking to...". The first panel below, labelled “Vampires”, shows an open door with a mouth with two sharp pointed teeth at the threshold, and a speech bubble saying “Can we come in?”. The second panel, labelled “Fossil fuel industry”, shows a figure carrying sacks of money walking over an oil refinery with chimneys belching pollution, superimposed over an EU building with tall EU flags outside it. A speech bubble from the figure says “Can we come in?”
