you can talk yourself silly
believing every word
#forsaking what you stand for
when #artificial love hurts

stop pretending to believe
when you know
you've been wronged
courageously move on

time defends & honors
the #brave & the strong

why does he deserve
the right to speak freely
tendering speeches of glory
after #crashing another's hope

why should he be praised as angelic
when in quietude imposed heartache
#forsaking a #sound heart that meant him well
