Pale figures gather among crimson umbrellas

A surreal, painterly forest scene depicts a moonlit gathering beneath dozens of suspended red paper parasols. Towering white-barked trees frame a luminous full moon near the upper center, while crimson umbrellas of varying sizes fill the canopy and recede into the misty woodland.
Below, a large assembly of ghostly, white-robed figures surrounds a dark circular pool or altar. Several figures stand with both arms extended upward, their pale garments blending into streams of luminous mist. Others kneel or bow around the perimeter, their flowing robes pooling across the wet forest floor. Small candles flicker around the central gathering, casting warm amber reflections across the dark water.
The composition is nearly symmetrical, with the brightest figures gathered beneath the moon. Deep charcoal shadows, muted teal-gray fog, and weathered crimson umbrellas contrast with the glowing ivory robes. Fine red flecks drift through the air, while layered brushwork gives the scene the texture of an atmospheric oil painting. The forest fades into darkness beyond the illuminated ceremony.
