Some lucky #ForcedPerspective from the #CIAS2026 made me giggle.

A cormorant tries to take on pilot Mike Tryggvason in his Edge 540 V3 racer aircraft.

A black and white image of a bird and a plane in silhouette against a cloudy sky. The bird (a cormorant) and the plane (the Edge 540 V3 racer aircraft) are flying in parallel across the frame from right to left. They appear to be of comparable size and wingspan due to the forced perspective of the shot. The cormorant is leading, but with the Edge 540's top speed of 240knots it was only for the fractions of a second when this image was captured.
