💙🐉 I'm sorry but "doppelganger reaction" is a comic genre that is just never going to stop being funny to me. 🤣

Mariko Kazama lies on one of the L-shaped couches, her head and shoulders propped on the large pillow in the corner, scrolling on her Garlond tomephone. Margot Weisshexer sits on the other end of the long part of the L, reading a book.

Mariko is surprised by what she sees. She mutters, "Gods above! How does this keep happening?"
Turning her hand over to reveal the screen to her friend, she calls out, "Margot, look at this! Who is this? How is this possible?"

We look closely at the screen, and it depicts a red-headed highlander woman who looks very similar to Margot — even wearing her hair in a style that Margot formerly chose — lying on a beach, her head propped up on her hands, her skin glistening in the twilight. This not-Margot wears a very confident smile as she gazes at the viewer.

Margot ... overreacts. Her "What?" begins as a befuddled whisper and endures through a long crescendo, culminating in a horrified scream.

🔻💙It's a strange basis for a friendship, but hey, it works.

Largo Canzondolore and Margot Weisshexer stand in the aetheryte plaza in Revenant's Toll. Largo is still project his best "rogue pirate captain" image with a Zormoran crystal gunblade still strapped precariously to his back. Margot is wearing her Ala Mhigan conjurer's robes, dyed pale blue and white.
They exchange a look. Largo shrugs and smiles warmly. "What say you, old friend?" he sighs. "Shall we save the star just one more time, for old times' sake?"

They walk into the Rising Stones. Margot retorts, "You'd best be referring to the age of our friendship. Surely you're too gentlemanly to make such a mistake."
