@naturaelapides.bsky.socialHere is a photo of rabejacite, a uranium phosphate named after a place I used to hang out near my old home in Montpellier, France. I bought in Béziers, which is yet another reason to connect this mineral to my own personal life—I love it when that happens.

Here is a prase flower, a leek-green variety of quartz, with its characteristic slender crystals.

Both images are handheld focus stacks with the OM-1 II and 90mm Macro. The closer view was shot with flash, revealing remarkable detail in the compound eye.
